About a month ago, Andrew and I moved in two big ways. We moved seven hours north, from the heart of central Virginia to western Pennsylvania. We also made a big move in size, upgrading from a basement apartment to a three story townhouse. After unloading all of our furniture, our new house still looked so empty! We are taking our time leisurely filling and decorating it, putting careful thought into how to use our space. And while unfortunately this means that most of our out of town guests have been relegated to the floor (thank you for being so gracious, and we’ll get a bed soon, I promise!), we have had so much fun working our way through the house and filling it out, room by room.
For a long time, I have been wanting an oversized ottoman for the center of our living room. I spend quite a few hours shopping online and at local furniture stores, only to find them overpriced and not quite right for our space.
